Why Shimla winters make home washing hard
Shimla's cold, damp winter air means heavy bedding and woollens take days to dry at home and can come back musty or half-damp. Winter bedding and woollens are charged per piece, so you know roughly what your order costs before booking. End-of-season: clean before you store
Woollens and bedding stored dirty over summer attract moths and set old stains, and they come out of storage smelling stale. Cleaning coats, sweaters and razais before packing them away keeps them fresh for next winter. Tell us at pickup which items are for storage so the team can advise on finishing.
Pickup areas and timings
Book through our Summerhill, Vidhansabha, Totu, BCS, Sanjauli or NLU Ghandal branch and choose a window on the booking page: 9–11 AM, 11 AM–1 PM, 2–4 PM, 4–6 PM or 6–8 PM. Pickup and delivery are free within our service radius; a small charge may apply further out and is always shown before you confirm. Share a nearby landmark and keep the bedding ready to hand over.
How long does it take?
Most blankets and coats are ready in about 2–3 days; razais, quilts and heavier pieces such as leather jackets take 3–4 days. A pickup window is not a delivery time — ask our team to confirm the expected return time for your items when booking, especially before a trip, a wedding or guests arriving.

Mention what caused a mark, how long it has been there and anything already tried at home, along with the fabric and care label. Old or set stains on woollens may lighten rather than disappear completely, and we tell you honestly what to expect after inspection rather than promising a result.
